so i have started down the path of trying to understand evolution, and to get the linear lies that the jws planted in my head out of it.

i bought an audiobook called "evolution: what the fossils say and why it matters" by donald prothero.

i heard it recommended on an atheist podcast that i listened to.

While I consider that to be very unlikely after having explored Life in its tiniest details, one of course can never be absolutely certain, until the day arrives. The day when all Truth will be revealed. We're getting there in jumps and starts but get there we shall. You're asking who told the first lie? Who is the father of the lie? I suppose it would be the ones who would rather we didn't believe (or have faith) that Love is our Creator.

I'm looking forward to that day when all will know what they've always wanted to know...

It is certain that all who've "changed their minds" to support the Theory of Evolution believe they've done so in response to very convincing evidence. It could also be that they've been very cleverly deceived. When the time is right we shall all be in a position to modify our beliefs as we let go of falsehood and accept Truth.

There is insufficient evidence presently accepted as such by the Evolutionists to either prove or disprove their doctrine. The evidence for Creation is abundant yet it cannot be "seen" by those who choose to support other beliefs. Which they are free to do. We do know that Science is subjected to pressures to conform to belief systems which support an agenda. Not all who are engaged in scientific research yield to such pressures; but they do so at a cost. The Theory of Evolution is not evil in itself and it certainly isn't a threat to Christianity. Some who claim to be Christian are just a tad too pushy about their false beliefs too.

You've resorted to attacking something you know nothing about by calling it a fantasy because it is impossible to defend your myth.

It does seem that Creationism has been made into a Religion by certain advocates; but it shouldn't be. Why some believe it is their obligation to devote much effort to "changing minds" about these things is beyond me. Who really cares what anyone believes so long as it doesn't result in any sort of bad behavior? In truth, Creationism really doesn't require any sort of defensive effort. In due time all will "see" the Truth and will happily emit sighs of relief. Thinking about the origins of life and the mystery of all the good fruits which life has produced is time well spent. Trying to change minds is rather a waste. Unless of course, one has powers such as The Borg.

Broken Dreams

i am adrift, without rudder, in a sea of broken dreams.. my mind descends into a tangle of seaweed, which pulls my.

hapless frame downward into a black and sinister realm that.

holds its jailed without pity, with scant hope of future release.. i do love the land and all her beauty but fear the sea; i'm no.

Aye, the sea in its fury can be a frightening thing. On my first voyage from San Francisco to Yokosuka, Japan in February 1961, the hurricane bow of AF-59 was plowing into the enormous waves as the ship heaved and yawed, expansion joints screeching and complaining loudly, I was literally on my knees with seasickness for 16 days, depression such as I've never again felt.

But the Albatross who followed us were with us all the way. The wind and the waves couldn't deter them from their journey with us. What an amazing sight to see them each day in such foul weather.

Thankfully, after a day or two in the calmness of port my sea-legs asserted themselves. I was again alive!

a quick google search or nature documentary will quickly provide inspiration.

creationist websites have hundreds of them you can copy-paste without attribution.. do no research at all on what is currently known about the evolutionary history of this feature.

Being right about something isn't a big deal; certainly not worthy of any "reward" or elevated status. Judgment shouldn't play any part in the critical thinking process of evidence evaluation. But "man" does it anyway. Ego and all that. Which raises another question...

There really is no need to argue anything in defense of "Creationism"

As in Mathematics, where certain relationships and identities are "obvious," so is Creation to those who comprehend.

Is there any need to convince non-believers that they are "wrong" or "goofy" for believing as they do?

Not at all. Truth marches on. It just hasn't reached us yet in its fullness.

But, it is on its way...

(Some will be disappointed.)

Win the argument?

No need to devote any energy to such pursuit.

We are not yet in possession of all relevant "facts" to prove either "theory."

We are all free to believe as we desire.

In the meanwhile, until Truth is complete, study and cogitate while examining the tiniest "parts" of all life. Such activity is very, very good for the Mind of Man.
